Picked it up in lockdown and played in my church choir for a while: flamenco, contemporary pop, gospel. These days it's more party trick than discipline: I pull up the tabs for something I already love and play along.

Spanish

Started as a school subject and became the one that stuck. An Erasmus exchange put me among Spanish students I got close enough to visit that summer, and I've kept it up through music, conversation, and a semester of B2 since.

Current level: B2 and climbing, certification next

Basketball

Played for the Irish National Squad in the 2022/23 season. The discipline of competing at that level carries straight over into engineering.
