Context

Hospital discharge is a coordination problem: doctors, nurses, pharmacy, and admin all hold a piece of the process, and patients wait in beds while paperwork moves between them. CareFlow AI automates that flow for Irish hospitals, and won the ServiceNow Code to Win hackathon.

What we built

  • Role-specific dashboards (Now Experience / React) so each discipline sees exactly their part of the discharge pipeline.
  • Scripted REST APIs for CRUD operations across discharge, clinical summary, task, and communication-log tables.
  • Custom database schemas and Flow Designer automations driving the coordination logic underneath.

My role

I was tech lead and team lead: coordinating the team on delivery and the SDLC, running sprint planning and weekly standups so progress stayed measurable, and fronting the pitch.

I stayed hands-on across both halves of the build: the React app, and the ServiceNow platform automations and backend logic.
